Nothing is more shameful than the act of mindless aping. And this is one marvelous trait that Indian should really be proud of. All the time we ape. Be it in movies or literature or in mass media we copy mindlessly. Without going to the details of movies and literature, about which we have read thousands of times in the media, let’s talk a few words about the mindless copy cat attitude of our media.

Do we need Religion and God?
If so..what kind of God and Religion we need ?
Humans' need for some inspiring strength..especially in distress is as natural as water and sunlight.
God is unquestionably that much needed strength and Religion shows various ways to reach that God.
Why human mind readily accept this concept of super power 'God'? because..God's attraction is his invisibility. He/she never shows up in person. So..human mind is spared from finding faults with his/her looks..his/her ways...and his/her all-encompassing power. It is easy to put faith in such power.

Me Maharastrian aka “Marathi Manoos”, who are you? Asked one of the auto drivers in Pune, I thought for a second and said”Me Bharat Manoos”, he shrugged and said would take double the actual fare.
At mid-night I didn’t had much of a choice and quickly acquiesced to his unwarranted demand. In the whole journey of few minutes I was perplexed trying to answer the questions which had just thwarted me, made me insecure and brought an unfathomable fear. How about being in the same situation surrounded by regional fanatics, would I have replied the same answer or would have begged to spare me against the horrendous situation? Indubitably the latter would have been the outcome. Further it gave me a feeling that is this place is in India? That time I had just questions with no answers.

“Kill to the last breath”- that is the primary doctrine he was inculcated with. The irony lies in the fact that now every breath he takes is killing him. If you are wondering who I’m talking about, then let me unveil the name of this unfortunate person………its none other than Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
