This story was narrated by one of my friends. It is a caution towards the male fraternity who travel by train and always wish for a beautiful girl as their co-passenger; the longer the journey the more powerful is the wish. My friend says girls have a knack of playfulness when they find any co-passenger who is, in colloquial language, ‘despo’. And the friend was kind enough to describe the rules of the game so that I don’t fall a victim to it.
The game has four stages or chapters:
Chapter-1 :Dhund Nishana
The girl sees around to find the victim. Who can be a possible victim? Definitely the easiest victim is the guy who thinks himself as over smart though he is actually not; the guy who becomes very happy seeing the girl as if he has found the girl of his dreams though he is meeting him for the first time; he who thinks that his journey will become memorable with the girl. Such kind of guys are the typical ‘despos’ and our woman play makers are more than happy to identify such creatures. It is not very difficult to search the prey because as most guys reading this article might have by now known that all of them are despos to some extent especially travelling by train. And to identify it is a very easy job for our hawk-eyed damsels. So once a girl, travelling alone or otherwise, sees a few co-passengers waging their tongues like the tails of a dog, she zeros on the easiest prey. Of course this is not the rule. There are some great players who deliberately chose more difficult preys. So the “Dhund Nishana’ is successful as the prey is identified
Chapter-2 : Nazar chupana
The next step is ‘Nazar Chupana’. At this stage the girl tries to avoid the eyes of the guy. First she ascertains at what angle she should rest so that the guy could get a better chance to look at her. Or if the above sentence sounds too vulgar I may rephrase like, the girl tries to grab the attention of the guy but deliberately avoids eye contact. One simple example may be the girl sits opposite to the guy face to face and starts reading “Mills and Boons”. The book is held in such a way that the guy should get to know what the girl is reading. But during the whole process the girl does not look at the guy at all. It is a kind of teasing him. But occasionally they could meet their eyes but the girls should give a typically blank expression to make the guy realize that she is tough nut to crack. Guys don’t take failure very easily and there ‘despo-ness’ increases manifold. So the success of chapter-2 lies in increasing the desponess of the girl manifolds.
Chapter-3 : Nazar Chuarana
After the chapter-2, the girl tries to make eye contact slowly. This encourages the boy more. He may initiate talking. But initially the girl subtly avoids it. So in the initial stage the interaction is limited to ‘eye-locking’, ‘shyness in the girl’, ‘deceptive smiles’, ‘occasional giggles’ which may be graduated to friendly gestures. One example may be given at this stage. (Of course I thank to that friend). One day she was playing this game while she was travelling on train. Her typical gestures included, smiling, tapping her feet when the guy played some song on her cell phone etc. At that time a beggar came. The guy obliged the beggar. A second beggar came and the guy again obliged. When a third one came the guy got irritated. Seeing this my friend laughed loudly and she gave alms to the beggar. This might be some symbolic gesture which included in chapter-3.
Some more powerful players may go to the extent of talking, talking coyly, exchanging phone number etc.
Chapter-4 : “Bakra bana na”
This is the last but crucial state. The girl should know where to put the limit. If the guy becomes too adventurous then the girl calls it a day and says she is just making fun of him. But it is actually a rare case as the girl has carefully chosen the prey: a mild and non-dangerous character. The game usually ends when the journey ends. My friend said, as she reached the destination the guy, with whom she was playing the chapter game, asked her cell no. At that time she said she was making her a Bakra and she has no feeling towards him not even she wanted any acquaintance. The guy left dejected. I asked her, “is it good to break somebody’s heart?” She said, “No! but this kind of roadside/train romeos need such treatments” JJ
Dear readers! Please don’t think me or my friend as weird fellows. This game is for fun and guys! Be careful who knows you may be the next victim of CHAPTER.

A hilarious article of gullible boyish tendency of males and crafty coquettishness of females!Men need to become mature enough to see through the 'playful' behaviour of girls. But there are gullible girls too who need to see through the 'wicked' ways of the men!!!

Times have changed since then my friend!!
In Mumbai every second day you will have a good looking lass by your side in the bus. However both will be oblivious of the presence of each other as the girl will invariably be glued to her mobile until the conductor calls out her stop. written by Pappu, November 29, 2009
What is this shit? There are guys who have conquered the beauties through this process. When the opposite side is nympho, then everything is possible.
I dont think its hard to find them.

hmmm such cases happen very often and i have seen guys really being despos while traveling. actually everyone of us need a company/partner in all kinds of journey, what i expect is instead of looking for bakras or girls people can search for good friends also!
once when i was going home, we were 3 girls going together and we had quite good time in deed. Friendship is above all the relationships...besides what if there are no guys/girls of that age? what will that girl do? better make friends right?

"Oh, what a tangled web we weave"..is what i feel like saying after reading this!
The so-called pickup lines and gestures or signals are the same world over. But, Where we Indians differ from the rest is..we see every single gesture, even innocent harmless ones.. from the opposite sex as some kinda pick up line! Men r afraid of the tag 'Romeo' where as women r afraid of the tag 'nympho'! [nympho indeed!!!] Had i been in the same [beggar] situation described in chapter 3, I wd have reacted in the same way ..becz ..lauging and giving alms to the beggar is the natural conclusion. How come it's seen as a pick up signal..i fail to understand! What's wrong in enjoying a harlmess funny situation?!! This clearly shows how convoluted our thoughts have become ! Indian culture and society fail to teach people how to be friendly with the opposite sex!! written by idiott, November 30, 2009
@Umbrella...
You are right... we should enjoy the funny situations. I have written it in the same spirit. Though it is funny, it is a true incident and this game is very famous among certain group of my friends. It is not intended to criticize any body or any behavior. In fact i love to be a victim of this game to a beautiful girl!!! kidding

Gender equations are difficult ... yet it was difficult from the time of Adam-Eve. The libido notwithstanding, the level of prank remains enjoyable. However, some of us are born devils, so we may even take the girl for a ride in this 'act'!!
Anyway, the methodology is cute. How I wish the intent and the conclusion remains sporting as well. written by Louis Vuitton, October 22, 2011
