It vanished in air. I woke up and hurried myself at my daily routine. I comfortably caught the bus that, in a transit of fifteen minutes, dropped me at my workplace. I am institutionalised. My feet lead me to the office washroom to enable me to set my hair in a way that leaves me smuged for the entire day. It is the only thing I do here to give me a good feeling. Soft hedonism, as I call it, has a seemingly innocuous association with my regular practices. However, each motley-coloured day is followed by a night of manacled introspection. My illustration of the day has an allusion to the fraudulent and obscure dream that I see often. Enigmatic, yet worth a thoughtful consideration. I, finally, relent to it. In a subtle experience-phase, I have gained chunks of wisdom and prudence. I have tasted some the most unpleasant experiences that have taught me to saunter through the ugliest of imbroglios. It is beneficing. I have cuddled with dialectics and savoured the art of contemplating human mind. Ironically, life derides at me and leaves a hundred tasks to accomplish when I slump under the illusions of autarky. The unprivileged lot of the society can never rest in peace. Perhaps, the norms are exclusive to the privileged few who are blessed with the prerogative to savour the delicacies of life with a minor thrust to already consolidated efforts of the influentials. It seems unjust, but is pragmatically omnipresent. They are, as commonly referred, the ones born with a silver spoon, and fed ambrosia. Life shares an absolutely different side with the parochial class. It makes them work hard and toil for the pettiest luxuries of life. Perhaps, they owe their wisdom the hard-nosed experiences and realities. Of them, many, someday attain great heights of success and successfully boast of their intrepid efforts. However, I still leave untouched the people who are ambitious but life's tyranny keeps them distant from any chance to soak themselves in the grace of an opportunity. They make efforts but witness life's prejudice at loggerheads with their envisaged Utopia. I wish life falls softer on the hapless few because each night they sleep with a song to make an effort to dream of success, and it vanishes before they see it.

Success at youth is always associated with material comfort and societal recognition. Destiny lays out goodies for everyone at all times in a measure that is in tune with the requirements and capacities at that point of time. The spread is over a lifetime and would only be evident if one were to introspect at the sunset of living. More often than not an unbaised inspection of life at such times would be much more revealing!!

Years to go and exasperated already??!!!!.. U r right in a way. Life in India is tough for the needy ones. fulfilling their basic needs sometimes takes their whole life time. Reality is harsh. Excellent write up.

It is the situation which sometimes hovers around you and gives you a feeling that you aren't among the beneficed ones. It happens with everyone. Isn't it? You know I am not among the ones who give up easily. Don't you? It was a realisation that dawned upon me. Not all are prodigious to carve a way for themselves.

Thank you, Santosh! I have tried not to be biased. However, the experiences sometimes have a trajectory and they are directed to the darker shades of life. We can, rather, should be optimistic but there is always a certain enigma attached to the success of the half-baked class. Even the high class, sometimes, face daunting situations but the probability becomes meagre. Hence, the inspection. Here, I understand that life furnishes numerous opportunities for all of us and solely impugning its actions would be mere prejudice. Perhaps, my next write-up would revel in the affection of life. I don't abuse life. It does, as stated by Santosh, benefice each person with opportunities.But, its disheartening to witness that life has fewer offerings for the less previliged. Consider a child working in a tea-shop. He works day and night, and earns just enought to earn him a day's meal. What good can you expect out of him? He never was born with suppressed expectations. He never had less to think of. He, in fact, never thought of it. He went where life took him. At this stage, we cannot expect him to become a doctor, engineer or an MBA. We cannot! He has to survive and not live. That is where the difference lies!
He might win a lottery ticket or step upon something fortutiously, but he has nothing to be very sure of a decent living. Here, lies the bias. Life shouldn't be abused, definitely, for it is life that is the teacher and not the vice-versa. We definitely crave to sleep with it every night, but with an expectation that something good might happen. It is the figments we mesh.
