Drenched in sweat

Breathing heavily

Darkness frowning

Shadows following

Thunder petrifying

I gulp water

To drown my fear

Is it a nightmare?

My sins I count

Can’t measure the value of good

Wish I go to heaven

Don’t want this flesh and blood again

They say I have changed

I wonder how

I am the same

As I was yesterday

Though the world is beautiful

It scares me today

I can’t shy away

But I can live everyday

Keeping every fear at bay
