Joint ventures are considered to be a quick way of entering a new market. With globalization, there has been an increase in the number of cross-border joint ventures. In this article we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of joint ventures in general, and cross-border joint-ventures in particular. “The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act” – (I)
India takes one more step towards fulfilling its own Indian Dream by passing the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill in August 2009. The passing of this Bill was one of the flagship programmes in the 100-day agenda of the UPA government. The Union Minister for Human Resources Development, Mr Kapil Sibal described this as “harbinger of a new era”. “We as a nation cannot afford our children not going to schools," he further asserted. Definitely, 62 years after Independence, the Bill came in as a welcome change in the legislation of India.
“Mom! What is this! Why you keep on giving me this bio-data of girls. And see this time it is heights…first ask that girl why she doesn’t get it published as an autobiography and apply for some Booker’s award. I am not going to read ‘I, me, myself’ stuff spread over to hundred pages.”
Nothing is more shameful than the act of mindless aping. And this is one marvelous trait that Indian should really be proud of. All the time we ape. Be it in movies or literature or in mass media we copy mindlessly. Without going to the details of movies and literature, about which we have read thousands of times in the media, let’s talk a few words about the mindless copy cat attitude of our media.

This is not a commentary on the union budget and definitely not a critique either. This is what I see from my lenses. I know I am not an important person whose case needs to be discussed in the light of new budget. But as a citizen and a poor citizen of India how does the budget affect me?
Humans' need for some inspiring strength..especially in distress is as natural as water and sunlight.
God is unquestionably that much needed strength and Religion shows various ways to reach that God.
Why human mind readily accept this concept of super power 'God'? because..God's attraction is his invisibility. He/she never shows up in person. So..human mind is spared from finding faults with his/her looks..his/her ways...and his/her all-encompassing power. It is easy to put faith in such power.
