What is more powerful for you?

The situation is a bit funny and confusing.

A friend is in dilemma, will appreciate your suggestions.

He is a bachelor and looking for suitable proposals (arranged marraige)

He has 2 choice:

1. To choose a very beautiful girl with no money as marriage gift (say dowry)

2. To choose not so beautiful girl (say ugly) with loads of money as marriage gift.

Which one would you suggest?

Beauty is skin-deep, transient and practically useless. Not so with wealth. Very useful, supportive and satisfying. Beauty is not always coupled with good heart. But wealth never fails to come in handy for necssary and fanciful needs.

mmm...ur friend's dilemma shows that he is not ready for marriage ..yet!

what if the wealthy-but-ugly girl is mean -spirited? her wealth wont help ur friend in anyway! lolz

There are other factors which are important than these two.

Let me assume that for these two girls (beautiful and wealthy) other factors are similar then go for wealthy one.

The reasons are:

1. Wealth is long lasting but beauty passes like wind.

2. To maintain or flaunt beauty, you need wealth. Beauty is a high maintenance attribute.

3. A beautiful spouse will give you some sense of uncomfortableness (if you cant match with her beauty and other factors).

Finally, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder but every eye can locate wealth.
