Karma, destiny, fate -all mean the same: an unchangeable, predestined, pre-programmed drama of life. It comes in handy whenever one feels helpless, hopeless and stumped. I prefer to believe in Providence which is the same but mixed with a dose of acceptance, hope and cheer!Whatever will happen will happen! Add to it -all that happens is for our good.

Destiny and fate may mean the same but Karma has a total different meaning.
Karma - What you do so you reap.
Fate/Destiny - Whatever you do, the final result is fixed.
But the scope of Karma extends to the works of previous birth or next birth.

In a way, right. Even Bible says the same:the sins of the fathers will be visited upon the children. But I prefer to take it only as a deterrent to do wrong!We must endeavour to write (or rather rewrite) our destiny!Somehow the traditional 'karma' concept is negative and depressing to my mind!
