“Kill to the last breath”- that is the primary doctrine he was inculcated with. The irony lies in the fact that now every breath he takes is killing him. If you are wondering who I’m talking about, then let me unveil the name of this unfortunate person………its none other than Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

Who sells the largest number of cameras in India?

Your guess is likely to be Sony, Canon or Nikon. Answer is none of the above. The winner is Nokia whose main line of business in India is not cameras but cell phones.

Reason being cameras bundled with cellphones are outselling stand alone cameras. Now, what prevents the cellphone from replacing the camera outright? Nothing at all. One can only hope the Sonys and Canons are taking note.

Mayawati – Inspiration, Tax payers closet & the flaw in Indian Democracy

Mayawati who had inspired (mostly dalits), raised the eyebrows of lot people (Upper part of the caste ladder) and turned the heads of the remaining when she battled her way to reign supreme by some clever biasing of the dalit and the Brahmin votes. Lets not deny it, it was one hell of an achievement. Anybody who would like to take inspiration from the so far mentioned story of mayawati, take it and draw the line right here.

“Make it fast. I need to reach the station by 11:00 PM”

“Be patient, Sir” replied the auto driver.

I reached the station at 10:55 PM, as usual was not surprised to see that the train was late.

The scene at Indian railway stations is always something beyond explanation, so many activities and people together, simply the permutation and combination of activities would account numerous stories however that day I was away from what I usually do “Watch people” as I didn’t had a proper reservation. Not to mention people flocked at the notice board reminding me of Cattle class of which I too was a part.

Judicial Activism and Indian Democracy - Part 1PDFPrintE-mail

Like many catchwords, judicial activism has acquired so many different meanings as to obscure more than it reveals. But at the same time it can not be discarded as an intellectual void for the vagueness of the definiton of the word for at the heart it speaks about the survival of law. Abandonment of this word not being a viable option, clarification needed as to what judicial activism is. Judicial activism is different from the judicial review or other process of jurisdiction in the sense that under the gamut of judicial review the judiciary can extend its influence to the spheres of executive and the legislative. Judaical activism simply means a pro-active judiciary which does no limit itself to the interpretation of law only but also sees if the law affects people adversely.

When i started watching Australian Open..it was a no-brainer, guessing the winner. because it was a given..though Murray tried his best  though it was his fault  that let Federer won the game. But ..i very much wanted Murray to win ..just to see a different winner..all for a refreshing change! Stiff competition brings out the best talent. Ofcourse..Federer is the BEST..but still seeing him win match after match..is boring.

Lately the news channels have been a medium of entertainment. The days when news channels were responsible for truth, which affected opinions of people and nation, they are now into sensationalization and packaging of things. They present what people want to see not what people should see.

Zeba, a 23-year-old model and actress says she's found the perfect job. The money is great, she rubs shoulders with the super rich and her working hours are convenient.

Zeba is one of thousands of high-price call girls servicing India's nouveau riche and the throng of foreign businessmen drawn to a booming economy. "If you have a modelling assignment, you have to work hard," Zeba, who declined to give her full name in order to protect her identity, said in American-accented English.

When it comes to my early morning routine I have managed to keep it unscathed for a long time. As a part of this routine is to have a sneak peak into ‘Timesofindia.com’. It doesn’t happen everyday but a combination of frustration, sympathy and a bit of every thing else. I call it the ‘kojak’ emotion (grand prizes for people who find out the meaning of this word. Lol:-).  Ok now lets get to the point , I see a blog in timesofindia where a gentle man who was so frustrated that Karan Johar(KJ) took a film on treatment of muslims(khan and our ex president getting frisked remember?) and not to mention it is also about love and all the naïve things which comes into mind when KJ and SRK comes together instead of the ‘exodus’ or ‘flushing’ of Kashmiri Pandits.

This is one of the most spectacular parts of out body. I think this is the only external organ which works independent of brain. We know that we should not speak a certain thing at a certain place but we could not resist. The tongue over-powers us and we vomit out something which creates problem for us. Take the case of the astute diplomat Shashi Tharoor. He is a man of intellect but is so poor in controlling his tongue. Time and again his tongue screws him in public and still a lesson is hard to learn. Mr Tharoor is not the only victim; history is abounding with such examples and I don’t think it is necessary to open the history book now lest I should be making you completely bored.
